A&P Need advice on digital cameras

    What to look for, what to avoid, etc... I'm looking to spend ~$500

    Optical Zoom is better than digital zoom...make sure you got some good optical zoom. Also look at your resolution, I just bought a camera for 330 that is 2.1 MegaPixels, but you can get higher than that.

    3.2 mega pixels should be enough around that price range. i suggest canon digital cameras, because at that price range, it basically comes with every manual setting you can have along with other preset settings.

    try to look for the canon s40 around 500, im sure you could. if not go for the canon s30.
