Do the 50 dollar logitechs/creatives do a good enough job for the IM programs, or should I go with a $100 model like the fusion or notebook cam pro that use usb 2.0? I figure the real benefit is for the user on the other end, so should I worry about spending more for a faster frame rate and bigger image size? Whatchu guys think?

The 50 dollar Logitech / Creative cams get my vote. May be able to be had even cheaper on eBay and work just as fine. I'm looking in to buying one soon as well.

I have a logitech quickcam messenger that works just as well as the more expensive quickcam pro 5000.
