Hey All, I'm going to europe soon and anticipate taking a ton of indoor pics (churches and museums, things like that). I currently have a Canon Rebel XT with a 28-135 IS lens and the Canon 10-22. I need to take pictures in the dark churches where they allow no flash, monopods, or tripods. I was thinking the canon 50mm f1.4, does anybody else have any suggestions? I have about $800 to spend and I know the 50mm is only ~325 from bh, but I'm unsure if this is what I need. Do you think 50mm is right for my subject, and is f1.4 fast enough for a dark cathedral? I eventually want to pickup a 24-70 f2.8 and could get a NON-canon lens within my budget, would f2.8 be okay?
