So I'm transferring my USPc 9mm to my girlfriend. She lives three hours away from me and an hour from her parents house which is the agreed-upon "bug-out location". I've made her a GHB/BOB however she lacks a firearm. She shoots my USPc well so we decided she should have it and I'm going to transfer it to her through FFLs. Well, my USPc is my GHB gun so I need a replacement. I really don't want to add another caliber so I'd like to stick to a .45ACP, non-1911 handgun. I've got a G21 already and was considering another or maybe a SF version. Any reason why I shouldn't get another G21/SF?

    I'd like a double-stack mag.

Not a .45. I will more than likely give her all of my 9mm with the USPc.

    Get Home Bag

Stays in the car at all times, food, water, fire/warmth, light, etc. I made one for her and one for my family but hers also included a double-strand pearl bracelet with matching earrings. Her initial reaction to the bag was, "This is not what I had in mind for Christmas" to which I replied, "Shut up and start going through it." The pearls had her smiling.

So it's kinda like a bail out bag, so to speak? Different terminology, same shit.

You should have given her a pearl necklace instead. :o

Funny thing is whenever she wears pearls, I ask her if she needs help accessorizing and sometimes, she takes me up on it :naughty:

Have you considered a 3rd gen s&w auto like the 4506? They're cheap now so you can buy more ammo, built like a tank, feed anything and have a relatively decent trigger.

If I already had something in .45 though I'd probably just buy a clone for interchangability of mags and holsters.

It's funny you mention that because her stepfather has one and it really is built like a tank. Weighs a fucking ton and will even feed empty cases :eek3:

My 1076 feeds empty 10mm cases too, no need to buy snap caps for failure drills.

A NIB 3rd gen G21SF is only $465 in the EE on arfcom. A bunch of others in the same price range. Any better deals out there?
