I don't care all that much about features besides caller ID,, what I need is an excellent range to cover the distances I am gonna go away from the base.. would someone recommend a phone or two? I'd like to keep it under $100 if possible :hs:

I find Uniden to be a pretty decent brand of phone that can achieve long distances. Typically anything in the 2.4Ghz range can offer a distance of a few hundred metres for under $100.

I'm not sure if you get Uniden phones where you are, but I have own several and haven't had any problems.

    No worries :)

So you've got a 5.8ghz panasonic phone at the moment? I'd expect that to perform pretty well... I know Uniden specialise in communications (CB's, scanners etc.. ) so they're products seem to work pretty well.

    Good luck!

damn usually panasonic phones will work pretty much anywhere. my recommendations would be either uniden or a panasonic.
