Here's the deal. Im on a 10 mbps up/down Fiber Optic line. Sounds neat, but I only have 40 gigs/mo of transfer. Up and/or down.

Is there a program that can monitor all bandwidth inbound and out, weather it be from IRC, web surfing, downloading from soulseek, anything. I just want to make sure I dont go over my limit. Although its only 1 dollar a gig when you go over, I still want to play it safe. I serve occassionally on IRC and soulseek, so I need to monitor my bandwidth.

    No problem.

You might want to take a look around that site while you're there. He has all kinds of useful little programs.

I think someone posted on here about Verizon or someone offering 10 megabit fiber service in parts of the US now at very reasonable prices. Damn, I wish they'd do that up here.

If it's for more than one machine, then MRTG.
