Need a PDA that will sync with OSX

I'm looking for a PDA that will sync with an Exchange account in mail.app. I need it to sync my Exchange mail and my Exchange calendar. Since mail.app doesn't really do exchange calendars, i could live with it synching mail only, and synching calendar with iCal.

Can someone recommend a good one? I'm looking for one that is slim. I already carry a money clip, a cell phone, keys, and a pack of gum. Adding one more thing to my front pocket is going to look ridiculous.

Ideally if I could replace my current cell phone with a phone that is also a PDA, that would be great. I have Cingular, if anyone knows of a pda phone they have that works with Macs. Trying to find that info on their site is a pain.

I wanna use my big 'ol honkin' monster Hp HX4700 with my MAC, but I am unwilling to install WM5 on it. (does weird things on the HX4700 machines)

I mentioned that as an option. Since I have Cingular, can you recommend one of theirs? I haven't used a PDA in years, so I'm not current on which is better - Palm or Windows.

They each have their advantages/disadvantages. I find that the Palm OS based devices are "snappier" and more responsive but I'm not too fond of the layout. The Windows Mobile devices are usually more capable, can sync with Exchange servers out of the box and has a good software set.

It's all down to personal preference, I would stop by a Cingular store and play with both of them then decide. There is a new Treo coming out in a couple weeks, the 680, and it's antenna-less if you are into that.

I use the Nokia E62 and enjoy it.

cool, looks like i will just head into a best buy or a cingular store.

when comparing palm vs. windows, do either sync with a MAc better? or do etiher not sync with ical and mail.app?

Any info on disabling missingsync from startup and making it sync with mail without using entourage?

I think I'll wait for these. I went to the Cingular store to check out what they have, and the two phones they had were almost $500 each, and they didn't have a working one I could look at, only the dummy phones.
