Well my old shit netgear is going in the trash, fucker is unreliable as hell. Now its time to start looking for something better, hopefully with the following:
    -Draft-N Wireless speeds
    -Gigabit ports (atleast two)
-USB port for serving a hard drive or printer

Otherwise im not too concerned about the brand, more just looking for a good deal (CHEAP!).

BTW i have looked at the apple extreme router, but my friend has had lots of issues with his being real buggy.

    Ideas?

Cisco... Or LinkSys by Cisco if you are being technical. They have a dual band router that is kick-ass. The 2.4 gHz range is excrutiatingly killer. I totally want one.

I was looking at upgrading to a time capsule in the future. Now it looks like I'll just end up getting an Airport Extreme. They come in draft N too right?

I believe so... considering the built-in cards in the macbook/MBP support Draft-N IIRC.

Personally I'd agree with the guy that mentioned the Linksys-Cisco dual band N one; I think I'm going to pick one up eventually here, even though I'll just use it as a WAP. I have a Cisco 3600 series router and PIX firewall that I run my stuff through (leftovers from a CCNA lab) :bigthumb:

I've got the AirPort Extreme and it's worked better than any router I've ever had. It's a thousand times more stable than the Netgear one I had before
