I'm looking at getting a new mouse and keyboard but I have no idea what's good and with the prices I've seen I don't want to buy to try. So what would yall recommend for light to medium gaming and general use?

I'm currently using a Microsoft wireless elite keyboard and a wireless Inteli Mouse Explorer 2.0. They've both been great for the last ~4 years but I think it's time for a change.

I would prefer wireless but it's not a must have, for the mouse I'd like something kinda heavy and something with the forward and back buttons and with the keyboard I'm pretty flexible.

    Budget: ~$120 total

LOL - im using an mx-revolution too (best mouse ive ever used, hands down), and a logitech dinovo edge. i think the dinovo edge would be out of your price range (i got it for $90 after a large mail in rebate deal) and the mouse, refurbished, for about $40. this was a couple years ago.

do you want a new mouse and keyboard for gaming use or just to use with the computer? wired for gaming and wireless for regular use

if its just for regular computer use then get mx revolution and dinovo edge. its what i have and i love both of them. if its for gaming then im sure someone will chime in for suggestions for gaming. i dont game on the PC so i dont know what is the go to mouse and keyboard.

    Names of these?

I'll be using them for gaming and general use, more on the general use side of things.

it's ugly as shit but it works fantastic: Logitech G5

I use this as my keyboard and it works great. Keys feel great, well separated, doesn't give any funky resistance if I don't press it dead on. Can't say I use the LCD screen for too much - same for the extra keys except for random shit in WoW. might be a little much for your needs but I recommend it
