Need a new leg routine? Enjoy puking?

    Well then this routine is for you. Found this over at Animal Pak today and I'm going to give it a shot.

    But basically the routine is:

    Leg Extensions: 4 sets, 12-15 reps
    Hack Squats: 7 sets (last set is a triple drop set), 10-12 reps
    Leg Press: 4 sets, 10 reps
    Barbell Squats: 3 sets, 10 reps
    Lying Leg Curls: 4 sets, 10-12 reps
    Standing One-Legged Curls: 4 sets, 10-12 reps
    Stiff-Legged Deadlifts: 3 sets, 10-12 reps

    Holy shit thats a lot of volume. Do you really think that doing that much volume is beneficial?

    I wouldn't do it week in and week out but every now and then high volume is great for shocking the muscles into some growth.

    And if you're juicing then it should be even better. Although its 18 sets for quads and 11 for hams, but the 4 leg extension sets are basically warm ups.

    dont like that the squats are so far down the list, id topple over for sure at that point

    I honestly felt like dying about halfway through. Those hack squat drop sets are killer.

    I'm not animal enough :(

    Well that explains it, I didn't take my animal pak before going. And I couldn't go heavy enough to do all the drop sets, the article says 5 plates on the last set, that just wasn't happening because 3 plates per side was kicking my ass.
