Recommendations on a mouth piece that's not custom? I don't want to spend 150 bucks on one.
shock doctor pretty much makes the best shit..
I third the shock doctor.
or go custom. Thats what I'll be doing next time I get a mouthguard.
what the mother fucking double post.
I bought that one and it didnt set for shit. I liked how firm it was, but it wouldnt sit center.
The ones just one price under that are what i always use. love em.
See, I've heard that from a few others but I formed mine per the directions and it fits like a damn glove I love it.
Not sure why some people have problems with it.
And its not like i had never formed a mouth guard. I followed the directions to the T and it came out fitting all jacked up. I've never had that problem with any other mouthguard, including the other two cheaper shock dock ones
And the other reason i hate that one is cause it makes you look like you have rabbit teeth
Very good quality though.
hmm I decided to just pay a bit more and got a gladiator mouth piece for 60 shipped.
ok now this is warranted
My Gladiator was about $70, I think. I like it.
i've had a gladiator for a while and love it too
i got the shock doctor, but i think i did something wrong, or maybe i shouldn't suck it tight since it leaves an impression on my upper lip
a lot of people trim the top middle of it down a little bit because it causes sores and abrasions. My first one set fine, but my second one i had to trim there cause my mouth got cut everytime i got hit.
I found that happened to mine a few months back. I wasn't really happy especially after I paid a lot for one. I mean, don't get me wrong, something that can save you embarrassment/money/pain is worth its weight in gold, but I had the same issues. I'm using the cheaper one now lol.
I make every kid I coach wear one of these. OTM is loving me, I send all my kids there for shock docs.
hmm i have never tried a double guard mouthpeice, i dont know but they seem like it would be uncomfortable.
