If you are from another service and know the answer to this for sure, please help.

When checking in with your recruiter on your 10 day leave, do you have to show up in your uniform, or can you wear civilian attire?

You're on leave show up with a hawaiian shirt on. Unless you're doing R/A you don't have to wear a uniform.

I was told in boot camp that you're supposed to go check in with your recruiter.

Anyways I went yesterday and it went fine. I messed up once, when a Staff Sargeant was like "Congratulations Johnson!" and I actually said "Thanks man!" then he smiled and laughed and was like "Man? Already?!" --- I almost shit my pants in embarrassment. Oh well, they were all cool as hell.
