I report for army basic in about a month, ive been running/walking a 2 miles and going 50 pushups, situps, and a tricep excerise.

To go along with this whats a good I guess protein diet to follow? Im wanting to build muscle so I was just wondering whats something good to follow help me get back to in shape so basic doesnt completely kick my ass.

    Thanks in advance :wavey:

stop eating junk food. (anything processed basically)
    eat lots of meat.
    keep doing cardio.
eating right is a good start but the cardio is what will make more of the difference. add pullups into your workout, im sure you will be doing lots of them.

Nothing around my house to do pullups on...I figure the best thing is just keep running and running and maybe alittle bit more running.

Pretty much just eating beef, turkey, chicken, and other stuff with lots of protein. Gotten pretty much just down to water and milk and the occasional coke.

Hopefully this is a good start :x:

thats a pretty good start for your diet. running is good, but you know they will be making you do thousands of pushups and pullups, you dont want to look like private pyle from full metal jacket.

You picked a bad time to do your diet....You would think before going into the military you would want to eat the nicest food you could find
