i like crumpler, but would settle for something else.

    shoulder-style bag.

something small would probably be the best. it would be a few camera batteries and a few 4xAA packs for the flash.

i prefer shooting with the grip on, so if that would fit, that would be tits.

any ideas? i have a $7mil Home right now, and that's entirely too big. just something to have to shoot whenever.

Haha resisting the temptation to post OT type responses in here is hard. :o

Shoulder style bag, such as one that goes across your torso?

I've got the Kata R-103 and I love it. It fits all my gear and I feel comfortable throwing it around and chillin' in whatever weather I have to deal with.

    Check it out.

overpriced army bags. I like them, but you will find that if you goto a surplus store you can get the same thing. Just add in some padding

The Canon backpack isn't very comfortable to wear, imo. I ditched it for the Kata HB205, which I can wear for 6+ hours (20-25 lbs of gear) without any issues.

Im looking at a slingshot 300 anybody have anything against it? I really need the ability to get stuff out w/o taking off the bag.

I hated the slingshot, it gets annoying carrying it around all day and you can't switch shoulders

I've used it for two auto shows (8+ hours each day, multiple days per show), and loved it. The weight never felt uncomfortable, and it was easy to use. I never needed to switch shoulders. But I understand that no bag is perfect for everyone. It sucks you had a poor experience.

+1 - mine was comfy for a while, but then It would get to where I hated the thing. But I had mine jam packed too.

i had a slingshot, and liked it, but would rather have a sort of shoulder bag (or man purse).

gonna head to the camera store tonight & see what they got
