Ok, as you can see from the title what I am looking for.

I would prefer a HTIB but stand alone receiver can be used also(I have 5 speakers from my current HTIB that I can use, but will need to get a new Sub if I go the stand alone route)

If a HTIB, it must have HDMI out, and at least 2 optical in(one for cable and one for Xbox 360). These are the only criteria. For Stand alone, it must accept sam amount of optical in.

Power is not a major concern as I live in an Apt and can't really crank the sucker anyway. Want to stay on the lower end of the price scale if at all possible, but for quality will pay a little more. Budget will be $250-$500.

I found these locally. Anyone know of a reputable on-line store that it would be cheaper to buy from? What would your recommendation be?

I am listing lower priced versions of each, but the two at the bottom interest me. Which would be better over the two? This will be more of a Christmas gift to myself within the next month(gonna wait until Black Friday to see if there are any better specials, just trying to complete my research early)

Receiver only - Yamaha (I could use my speakers I have now and pick up a decent sub)

    Here are some Onkyo products

    Receiver only

This one might be worth the money to have the video up conversion feature. Right now my cable box only outputs in 1080i max and I have a true 1080p TV(I can get 1080p from all HDMI inputs, component, and VGA)
