For most people its not an issue, but I am looking to gain strength in my neck for wrestling and such... My neck is between 16-17 inches which for someone my height and weight not only looks ridiculous, but is terrible for the MMA training I do. Generally, if you can control someone's head, you can control there body, I need to build strength in my neck to resist forced head movement. I was doing weighted exercises by putting a 25 pound dumbbell on my forehead when laying down and bringing my chin down and head up.... did reverse and side to side. Didn't really do anything for me over a few weeks. I don't think it targets the area well. Was gonna get a head harness, but I am worried its going to be the same outcome as the dumbbell stuff... Anyone have any recommendations?
