I have a few work events coming up in December & need to find some clothes that are neat casual or smart casual.

I need some suggestions as I'm completely lost when it comes to this style.
Please keep in mind that it will be Summer and I need to maintain some level of professionalism!

At the moment I can currently think up: Khaki pants, blue/white striped oxford with sleeves rolled up. Need ideas for shoes too.

    :werd: to jcrew

theyre one of the few companies doing it right at the moment, imo :hs:

though they they're charging a kidney for pretty much everything right now

what kind of work events are these? picnics or training?

this is probably on the more casual side of what you're looking for, but would be good for picnic type situations.

simply changing the shoes could make it acceptable for office casual

    Hey mate

What are the things you need them for? How old? What sort of crowd?

Your idea plus some decent leather lace ups would be what I would be looking at. Maybe even some *shudder* boat shoes depending on what it's for.

Work xmas functions, I currently work in a very conservative office. I also start work at a big 4 firm next year and have to go to their end of year function too. I hate buying lace-ups, I try to put it off as much as possible.

Guessing it's a kind of by the water thing if you in sydney. Comp bbq or something?

if so, blue oxford shit, khakis and leather shoes. Just not square toe slip ons.
