Is it worth staying with this institution or should I jump on the USAA bandwagon?
They dont offer anything USAA doesn't. Honestly I'll probably be swapping over soon, there is no added convenience with NFCU since im too lazy to drive 30 miles to their closest branch.
I'll still have my car payment with them though, since they offered better rates at the time.
i have both...USAA though has opened up to the public..which in the long run might be a bad thing...NFCU is still limited to DOD employees only.
There's a Navy Fed branch less than a mile from my house. I'll stay with them for the convenience. They've never done anything to push me away either.
I keep both around just for S&G
I've been happy enough with them
Looks like I'll be staying with them. They recently opened a branch near us. USAA will just keep my auto insurance on tab.
USAA was good while I was deployed, but they suck when you just want to walk into a branch office and do some face-to-face business.
And on a side note, I just saved a shitload of money at GEICO. Seriously.
keep em and join the usaa there is no reason to can them and always good to have another choice on loans.
