GUN Navy uniform question

    Hey. This maybe a little OT, but I didn't know what forum to put it in (guidance would be appriated).

    --

    Can someone post some pics in here of the Navy "class A" uniform? thx. oh yea- and it is sometimes referred to as "the blues" or something like that.

    I don't know if this is the "new" Alpha, but it is the uniform that I see all the squids wearing.

    no, that's not the new one. the new one looks like the marine corps service charlies, or their service uniforms in general.

    I know what your talking about now. I saw those in a Marine Corps Times I think. I think they're ugly. I guess wearing our digital cammies wasn't enough, now they've got to steal our service uniforms. :greddy:

    it's not an adopted uniform change. it's being proposed, but like everything else on the internet, someone posted pictures of it, so it must be already true.

    there are two proposed versions of the service uniform. one is a lighter blue than navy for the top, and navy for the trousers, but styled the same as USMC charlies. ranks go on sleeves, except officers. not sure what they'd do for covers, because i can't remember.

    the other proposed one, if i remember correctly, actually ends up looking like dress blue deltas because of the britches. i'll see if'n i can find pictures.
