Nice fight, would've liked to see it end differently after watching the beginning though.

the armbar was weird because hes just holding on his wrist and pulls his arm into the armbar position. such a hard way to do it without a gi on. must have a monster grip.

I think one of Nate's biggest problems is that he's not a very powerful guy. His striking looked pretty sick in the first round, but Hermes didn't even look like he felt any of those shots.

his striking is sub par. most of his punches hes trying to generate the power from his arms and doesnt really use his shoulder and arms to back it up so he throws these weak shots that dont do much damage. his kicks are complete garbage. I dont know what the hell he was thinking with those hooks.

the only thing he really has on his stand up is he is agressive. technique wise he doesnt have much

Indeed, I gained alot of respect for Sherk and the way he handled himself. With that being said, and I hate to throw this in there, I dont think Sherk i s alll natural.

You're talking about Hermes, right? His striking is sloppy, but you can't say he doesn't have power in his punches. Then those bolos land cats go to sleep. Ask Caol Uno or Spencer Fisher how hard he hits.

edit - and if you're talking about Nate (i'm really not sure) you are equally on crack. Nate, like his brother, has excellent boxing and very quick hands. His kicks leave something to be desired, and he's not the most powerful lw striker, but his technique (boxing atleast) is very good.

i was talking about nate. no is technique is real sloppy and he has nothing behind those punches. he likes to swarm alot is all. he throws alot of arm punches he doesnt put his weight behind it most of the time and thats why im saying he doesnt have any power because you dont get the power from the arms you get it from your back and legs. he exposes his ribs alot and leaves them wide open

I think a good way to diffuse all of this hostility would be to have the members of the cage meet up somewhere and battle each other to the death or at least unite in arms and defeat those horrible ninjas that threaten the very existence of mankind.
