    so is your gf training for 2008? if so thats pretty cool. my buddy just got the offer to come and tryout for the bobsled team, they saw a vid of him deadlifting 700lbs on myspace and said they would fly him up this week to check the place out the training center and stuff.

    and how often do you see your girl, she' in colorado and you're in florida right?

    I've heard that same story from other people on various message boards. I guess they are desperate for bobsledders

    yea, desperate is right. my buddy hasn't ever seen snow or been in weather that cold..

    well there's not really a routine. It's all what their coach comes up with there's no kind of template thing that she can tell. Obviously and hopefully and its no random but the coach comes up with it from week to week. The only thing I can kind of gather from what she tells me is they do snatch and cj in the morning and thats usually like 8-10 reps total from like 70-90% unless theyre doing a max day then accessory work. In the afternoons they do some kind of heavy squat and some jerk work. This is a very broad generalization so it can change quite a bit. It'd be a bitch for her to type it all up and then I don't want my reason to be a bunch of my e-friends want to see. I'll dig up some stuff from email's shes sent me at work. There'll be some gaps though.

    they're training her for 2012. She's only been lifting a year and a half so she needs alot more work. Olympic level lifters in her weight class total 200+ kilos and shes at about 160 right now (58 kilo weight class).

    that's pretty awesome man. i have such a huge respect for olympic athlethes, i've got a couple friends who are training and might possibley be backups on the wrestling team.
