My father wants a cheap form of NAS in our house, so I came up with this:

    PC:

    AMD K6-2 350MHz
    FIC VA-503+ mobo
    128MB PC100 RAM
    Dual 40GB 7200RPM WD HD's (No RAID)
    8MB ATi Rage Pro
Aztech Sound Galaxy 16 ISA sound card
    3Com Etherlink PCI 10/100 NIC
    12x CD-RW
    Alps Electric Floppy Drive
    Windows 2000 Pro

This case (We need something super small):

Yes, the mobo is Baby AT.

How would I go about attaching this to my network?

    Current network setup:

Dell TrueMobile 2400 802.11B/G router (Don't laugh, my dad uses a Dell notebook, he bought it through Small Business...We got this for free...It works pretty good, after we flashed the firmware. It has an amazing range).

Is it possible to add a hub and then add more than 2 drives? If so, that would kickass :)

I'm not sure about that. The only bad part is that the drive has to be formated to a special format. I beleive it's something to do with Linux, so you can't take the drive off it and then plug it into a PC.

There's some pretty wild hacks out for it at http://www.tomsnetworking.com/Sections-article85.php
