MMA nailed a guy with a double armbar last nite

    I was like :eek3: this isn't supposed to work!! he was occupied trying to tie my hands up in my gi, aha but it goes both ways dude...

    what are some weird unlikely subs you've made work?

    double armbars actually work really well. especially when people get can openers on you. I've gotten the twister once :dunno:

    the person has to be dumb with their arms for you to set it up. but once it's locked in its really nasty. if the person is relieving pressure you can swing for either arm and turn it into a traditional armbar. check out my jeff glover and bill cooper thread. at the end cooper gets a double armbar and switches it to a single.

    theyre grappling no gi.. yeah the guys bandwidth limit was reached. alexander otsuka got one in mma.. might be a work though.

    I tend to pull off some really weird double arm locks when I'm up against someone who's a lot weaker than me.

    nice job. for me... I've gotten the twister a bunch of times, that leg lock I saw imanari do once, a few flying triangles, and some more I can't think of.

    it's the submission eddie bravo brought to jiu jitsu. it's a wrestling technique called the guillotine, but can be turned into an incredibly nasty body crank.
