A couple years ago I found a website which showed how to remove finger and toe nails. It told what chemical to then apply to the nail-bed to ensure that the nail will never grow back. I've been trying to find that website, lately, but to no avail.
I've a toenail that always grows in funky and I'm getting tired of removing it. Any help would be appreciated.

    See a doctor about it.

What do you mean by "grows in funky" ? There are a lot of things podiatrists can do for that before taking off the entire nail completely.

It grows as far as the tip of the toe and then begins to bulge higher and higher in the middle until wearing a shoe is painful. The doctor removed it several times ("maybe it'll grow straight this time") but it always comes back funky. I finally took to removing it myself rather than pay a doctor. This has been going on for many years. I just want to get rid of it once and for all.

Can we get a pic of "growing funky?" I don't want to sound sick or anything, but I think we'd like to see exactly what you are talking about. But I agree with the ones telling you to see a doc. That's what I would do. :)

I'm not going to post a pic of the nail. My description will have to suffice. Right now it doesn't look "funky" anyway, just nail-less. I'm just trying to prepare for next time I remove it. With luck it could be the last time.

when they do toenails that have ingrown more than 3 times or so they do something to the root to kill it... my brother had it done... maybe you could google it?
