    I created a user in MySQL and now I want to grant them privileges for a specific database, but dont want them to see any other databases. How can I go about doing this?

    GRANT ALL ON dbname.* TO user@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'some password';

    lower case shit fill in your own stuff... the @'%' is only if you need the user to connect remotely (from anywhere)... if not, you can replace it with: @localhost or whatever ip address the user (or app) is coming from
