So I have this timeclock that I'm moving from mySQL 4.1 to mySQL 5.0.27 -- with it, a bunch of queries. I'm having trouble with *some* queries appearing to be 'explicit.' It's like they want me to reference the table name anytime I call a field (in SELECT or WHERE). My question to you is -- is there an explicit option for mySQL to cause this?

    This works in 4.1:

It doesn't in 5.0.27, to make it work I need to reference punchlog for each field:

(Yes I know I can use an alias for punchlog)

There's an awful lot of queries out and about in this code for me to add referencing to. I have some really simple queries that don't require the reference "SELECT employeeid FROM employees;" -- the only difference I see between this and my failing query is the 'failer' is calling FUNCTIONS.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.
