I have officially launched the MyFantasyMMA site. I have given all the OT Cage members that participated in the beta test "Regsitered User" status up until Sept. 15th. Good luck, we have 3 games up (UFC 74, UFC 75, and IFL Finals) and more to come. There are some fantastic prizes so go and check it out! http://myfantasymma.com

    SCirone,

If your winnings for the year total less than $600 you will not get a form 1099. I just make it a policy to have the information on hand for all winners in case I need to file for them at the end of the year.

    Vulgar,

Since you had some problems during the beta test, I am watching to make sure that your entry gets in. So far you have made selections for UFC 74 but none for UFC 75 or the IFL finals.

Thanks man... lookin through er now

As for the prizes, are you eligible for the good prizes based on the date you make your picks? Or the date of the event?
Curious if I should bother making picks for the events that are a month or 2 away

    $lacker,

You are considered a "registered user" up until the date your registration expires, it is not based on when you make your picks. Thus everyone that did the beta test qualifies as a registered user thur the 09/15 EliteXC game (btw I have not listed this game yet).

But go ahead and make your picks for all the events, you have nothing to lose, its free. I even put up small prizes for the non-registered users. Each game has a link in the upper left hand corner that says "prizes for this game" if you click on the link it will tell you what the prizes are for both registered and non-registered users are for that specific game.

no more decent prizes for the non paying subs.

also i would stop having so many choices for submission. kinda weird.

    checkii,

prizes for non-registered users (and registered users) will get better as time goes on. I need to get a user base started first and then get some sponsors for the site.

Keep supporting the site and I will try to get some better prizes up.

for sure. i like how responsive the site is. no lag, no reloading after each pick, well done.

y only criticism would be the multiple sub choices, when you pick decision it should default to the final round, and that picture of Trigg is extremely homosexual. :greddy:

either way I will try and participate as much as i can.

Sorry guys but right now the game is only open to US residents. I am thinking of opening it up to Canadian residents as well, but the way the rules were drafted makes the game comply with US laws only. If I want to open the game up to Canadians I would need to get an opinon from legal counsel in Canada.

    Thanks for supporting the site!

would they technically just need a US mailing address or would that not fly?

Starting with the UFC 75 game all winners must complete an affidavit of eligibility. This document basically is an aknowledgement that the winner has complied with all eligibility rules.
