I just got a new schedule at my Independence EMS job (switched to nights), and had to drive up to Smithville to change my Fire schedule. I decided I would drive the Yenko... just because its a nice day. Half way there my dad calls me and said he was out in his Z/28. He was cruising around and decided he would meet me at Smithville Lake here in Missouri to take some pictures. This is what we came up with.

Gold car (dads): 1969 Numbers matching RS Z/28. DZ302. Hurst 4 on the floor. 10bolt with 4.11 gears. Front disk, rear drums.

Yellow car: 1969 Yenko replica (mine): R code 427 with internal work (490whp). 400 Turbo auto. 12bolt with 3.23s. 4 wheel disk brakes.

A buddy of mine at the firehouse let me stand in the back of his truck to get some rolling shots of the Z.

Took my dad for a ride and he started playing with my camera

My dad took this with an outstreched arm from inside his car

Then we raced... and I won... by alot. :lol2:

That's actually my old DD. I've since traded that car (black 03 Mach 1) in on a red 04 Mach 1.

    Mods:
Kenny Brown front k-member, subframe connectors, and rear control arms
    Steeda front and rear swaybars
    H&R Sport springs
    Tokico adjustable shocks
    Spec stage 3 clutch
    Ford Racing flywheel
    BBK Shorty headers
    MAC h-pipe
    Flowmaster American Thunder aftercat
    BBK intake
    Diablo flip chip
    75 - 125 shot NX wet
    NKG -2 plugs
8" (front) and 10.5"(rear) black bullets with 295 BFGoodrich G-force drag radials

All those modifications have been moved over to the red car except the wheels and tires.

I dont have any pictures or video of the red car. I'm considering trading it in on an Audi S4.

If that Z/28 had the RS stripe around the nose instead of the rally stripes it would sexy as hell.
