My Year and a Half Progress Pics ***PICS***

    So, a brief story - I've always wanted to lift, and a buddy of mine finally got me off my ass and into lifting. This is the only before before pic I could find. Oh, I'm 6'1" and 33.

    March 03, about 205 lbs (hariy chest FTL!)

    I begin lifting with my bud in June 2005. Here's a pic a month after strating. This got me excited, because I noticed changes and has kept me motivated.

    June 05, ~195

    In September 05 I deployed to Iraq - great for lifting - I found all kinds of time, and kept lifting steadily the whole deployment.

    December 2005, ~190 (Yeah, I'm from Tampa :o)

    Most recent pic - Nov 2006. Being back has made it tougher to lift. I took a good month off too once I got back, but I'm still want to maintain my gains :o

    Don't look as good here - too much beer and fun at Oktoberfest after I got back from Iraq.

    Personal Gains

    Bench went from 135 :o to 225 (I could probably do more, but haven't tried to max in a while.

    Deadlift - I only started deadlifting in August or so :o (thanks to F&N I started). I have'nt tried any max yet, but my working set (5 rep max) has gone from 185 to 275.

    Squat - I only started about a month before deadlifting, and it sucks. Haven't tried to max yet, but my 5 rep working set went from about 135 :o to 205. My squat SUCKS! :mad:

    Comments welcome - I've read here so much, it's guided me along the way. Thanks to all F&N Broly's.

    I know, I need to eat more. Any areas I need to work on? I know, no back or leg pics. I need bigger lats.

    Good job, you have lost your skinny fat status. Now its time to clean bulk and put some size on. With your diet in check you can put on lean size slowly but surely.


    Keep busting ass, stay motivated.

    :bowdown: Thanks! I've been hesitant to bulk, but i think I'm hitting a plateu, and i know I can eat more. Just have to sit down, eat, lift, and sleep!

    I want to get to about 200-205.

    You probably had them correctly there at some point and they were cached on your web browser. Then they were deleted. Thus you see them still and we don't. :confused:
