*EDIT* new pics with the new exterior mods posted below!!!

after being garaged all winter, I finally took it out of hiding today. It had a THICK layer of ugly yellow dust all over it and the battery was nearly dead! I washed it and put a coat of scratch X on it to get rid of some of the siwrls and then a coat of meguiars gold class wax and tire black.....ill have to do the interior some other time. I love my car too much :)

    Relica STi wing.

I bought my subie so I COULD drive it in the winter. Its not a Ferrari, you should be able to take a Subaru out and have fun in it.

my point is i do have fun in it. but why should I drive it in the winter and potentially wreck into something or beat up the paint when I can drive another car? Why did this have to turn into a flame fest?

STi makes PARTS too asshat, its not like putting a type R badge on a civic. Very many imprezas have STi foglight covers and spoilers cuz they look nice  not to mention, i have atleast 1 STi performance part ;)

    ignorancy

hey dickhole, don't go rolling your eyes at me. I was just asking if that's what they were...read above, can't see so good.

I never said anything positive or negative about it either way. Personally, I think you've got yourself a pretty nice little car. :bigthumb: I've always liked the black ones. And I say more power to you for wanting to put it away for the winter and keep it nice...a clean car is usually a nice car.

If it were me I wouldn't go putting STi stickers on a non STi WRX regardless of how many STi boltons but hey, that's just me, and I don't care for stickers. Don't post pictures of your car if you don't want opinions on it...:eek3:

there are a few people here in town that put up their WRXs for winter.

I put winter tires on mine and bomb ass through the snow and ice.

Function over form baby, use it at what its good at.

I hate getting my car all gross with salt and snow, but the whole reason why I bought it is to drive in the winter. I had a mustang previously and I wasn't going anywhere in these nor'easters we keep having :)

so yeah, I can understand why someone would want to put their WRX away but the all wheel drive is too valuable in the wintertime (at least for me).
