i dont even sweat that much and always wear deodorant/anti-pers.
you use solid don't you?
switch to gel. my dad had the same problem and hasn't had it since switching to a gel stick FTW
true, sucks waiting for the gel to dry though.
i have right guard gel stick and it dries pretty much instantly
interesting fact. will try this.
try putting a little oxy clean in with your laundy as well.
yeh oxyclean will break down the polymers in the stick that make the shirt yellow
ps, if you put deoderant on just after your shower and then by the time your dry and ready to dress youll be allll good :O)
get Gillette Clinical Strength.
drink more water
its not the sweat that causes it. its the aluminum-zinc in the anti-persperant that does (main ingredient in what keeps you from sweating), when mixed with detergent/bleach during washing, this shit happens. used to happen to me as well until i switched over to more pricier shirts
the solution: use stuff without the aluminum zinc shit
so then I should use deodorant, not anti-antiperspirants?
i wear dove, womens deo, cool cucumber scent. leaves no resiudes on clothes and smells great
It's nothing to do with hygiene. There's an ingredient in some deodorants/anti-persp that makes your shirt go yellow-y. I forget what it is but I just switched to another random one and all was fine.
Aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex
Crap, sorry dude I didn't see that you'd posted that already...
I've heard lots of weird stuff to get the stains out.. like crushing aspirin, baking soda, or mixtures of vinegar.
I simply don't wear white shirts anymore.. I sweat like a mofo, no way I'm giving up antiperspirants.
Maybe replace them from time to time?
I have this all the time, but I sweat a lot.
I use Degree deodorant. You're saying I should try the gel version?
interesting...so now the real question...how does the OP get rid of the stains on his whitey tighties?
can use the gel based CLEAR anti-persps duh
those stains are permanent. Best thing to do is find a deodorant without aluminum and get new shirts
