I took my apart (completely, its like 100 screws), and washed it in water. Yeah its a lot of work, but its worth it for a keyboard that looks like new.

Just throw on a movie & take it apart carefully to clean it. Use rubbing alchohol to wipe down any electronics or sticky parts as this will dry quickly & is non-conductive so you don't have to worry about shorts or corrosion.

I did this with my works black & grey Mac keyboard because the keys were furry with crap. Took about an hour and a half and it seriously looks brand new again. Even the keys have better response because all the gunk was cleaned out of the springboards.

    I have the same thing.

Idk, i'm thinking that if I must i'll just spend 45 to get a new one for my iBook.

Like I said in another thread, I always use Windex Multi-Surface wipes, they usually get out all the gross and grime, then blow it out with canned air. I'm not sure I'd want to take apart my iBook's keyboard....
