I took an AR Armorer's course. It was a good time and I learned a lot.

I've taken plenty of ARs apart before. I've stripped and rebuilt bolts and built lowers from parts kits. I even milled my own lower from an 80% blank but I've never pulled a barrel or COMPLETELY disassembled the rifle (sights, gas block, roll pins, ball bearings and all) before.

Other topics included trigger jobs, diagnosing gas system issues, FA parts and conversions, head spacing, ballistics, history and future developments.

I didn't fire a single round all weekend. It was a nice break from shooting.
