Already posted this on sitepoint and Digitalpoint, figured I would spread some OT love

    Filelime

    About Filelime
Filelime.com is a free 150MB uploader. Users have the ability to upload videos, pictures, music, or anything else via a form. Once a file is uploaded, the user gets a direct link to the file in which they can share, download, or do anything else with. Filelime is really a great service because it offers no waits, or signup! I am selling the site to help fund some other bigger projects I have brewing.

    Pagerank: 4
    Alexa: 185, 586
    Backlinks: 14,104
Number of files uploaded on Filelime (audio, video, pictures, docs, etc): 12,000 +

    Traffic + Sources
Filelime launched in July and since then has prospered traffic wise. In July the site launched and reached a mere 1216 unique visitors. Two months later in September there was 33,056 unique visitors. In October this number rose to 56,043 unique visitors. In November the site reached a record high 98,900 unique visitors, and so far for December there has been 64,482 unique visitors and rising.

    Traffic Screenshot

I have put some money into advertising Filelime. Filelime got a lot of traffic from 2girls1cup.com (NWS) and its network of sites. Our advertising deal just ended with 2g1c, but there is still a heavy flow coming in daily from other sites. I have also advertised on OT, whos.amung.us, blogs, and some other NWS sites. I just ran a contest for the site where I gave away an iPod touch to a random user that blogged about Filelime, therefore the site has been blogged about a lot, and continues to have a steady flow of traffic.

    Other Information
Filelime runs on the popular upload script Filechucker. Filechucker is not a free upload script, as you must buy a license for it. The license is already paid for so you won’t have to worry about that.

Filechucker has a ton of features, to check them out go here
    * Note that I have not enabled all of Filechucker's features on Filelime

For the winning buyer, you can choose the option of keeping the site on my friends server or I can move it to your server at no cost with all the files. My friend charges me $20 a month for unmetered space / bandwidth (reasonable) and he uses AIM so he is easy to reach and contact. I would recommend staying on my friend’s server because it is fast, and he is easy to reach on AIM in case there are any problems. And heck, for $20 bucks a month you can’t go wrong.
With that being said, Filelime has to date used roughly 16 GB of disk space, and roughly 1500 GB of bandwidth.

    Friend's Server Info (softlayer.net):
    Linux OS
    Dual Xeon
    2GB Ram
    Raid Storage
    ------------------------------------------------

That pretty much sums up everything about the site. The site has done well, and many users like it for its fast upload and ease of use. The site also has a lot of traffic which can turn into more profits.

I will take Paypal only for this purchase. I will not release the site until the funds are secured in Paypal.

I have set the BIN at $5k, and the min bid at $1k

Any questions PM or post here bishes

I don't want to make any promises or reserves yet Meow since I posted it on 2 other big forums. If it sells for BIN I'm happy, if days go by and nothing, then I will come up with a lower BIN.

um, hate to break it to you, but it'll take almost 3 YEARS to make $5,000 given your current stats. Sorry, you're delusional if you think you'll get that.

8 months rev max but given how easy upload sites are to setup/grow you might have a hard time even getting that. Try DP though...

He knows that stuff is meant to be taken with a grain of salt. Or maybe one of those small pouches of salt you get from the fast food places.

Is this you're question? DNScoop gives an average price for your site based on what it could make, the traffic, pagerank, backlinks, etc. No its not totally believable, but its a source to look at when seeing what your site could sell for if you meet most of the criteria.

You didn't answer my question though: you're the unreliable coder who submits to things and then can't get them done?
