Front page is the same for now but you can now scroll through pics without going to a different page. Still being tweaked so this version may end up being different.

Oh yeah, just click on the 'view my work' button, the rest is the same as my old site.

All I see is a blue page with white text and one picture on it...

and at the bottom, "This site has been visited Hit Counter times!"

    Is that right?

My brother is still working on it. When he got laid off last summer, I thought he'd have time but his computer business (www.mycomputerguy.net) took off so fast he hardly has any time to work on it now.

I'm not sure if you're looking for critiques or what...
    But on this page...

you're showing off the before & after, but the pictures are so low quality, thats its really hard to tell. Maybe grab the full size digital images, and resize them in photoshop, so the quality stays high

oh... meh. Opened it in explorer and it took forever to load. I don't think you should have to rely on Java for navigation

Working on that too. When the site was first done, the pic size was small because so many had dial-up still. I have about 200 picture CDs to go through, reload and resize the originals to a larger size. All the newer before and afters are either 600 x 400 or 750 x 506.

I have IE and it loads fast for me, even the updates that weren't in my cache.

There are going to be more upgrades, but since my brother's business has taken off so fast and he has 2-year-old at home, he just doesn't have much extra time.

i have a friend who does pretty sweet sites.

    www.civperc.com

    he's pretty good :)
I really like his layout style not to mention he's a full time artist/web designer so he really knows how to make designs that grab the eye. Web design has gotten SOOO complex it's like it's own offshoot of graphic design now.

What do you mean "if I want clientelle"? I am booked a week in advance all the time. The website is more for fun than anything else and a learning exercise for my brother. He is going to continue to update the style but working 80+ hours a week with his computer business makes it hard.

Point is, why spend money on my site when I don't even need it at all to have more business than I can already handle?

My brother has Infiniti spelled wrong, I'll let him know.

When the site is completely updated, it won't be java anymore.
