    hey guys (and gals),

I am looking for some critique on my webpage (which I already received from CompiledMonkey and Astro (thanks guys)) anyways I am just looking for feedback whether good/or bad, and ways that I can improve this. I know the code section lacks and I also have a few spelling mistakes, but I just need to know as a whole (design basically)

also if y'all think it's too childish and not professional enough, I am trying to give it a professional look while maintaining a 'fun' factor I guess...tell me if I am failing...heh

    the webpage is @ www.adaccache.com

    thanks!

i think the contrast between the left and right sides is a little silly - dark on light next to light on dark is hard for the eyes..

also, keep in mind that content is more important than style by several magnitudes.

that being said, you can get some style ideas here: http://oswd.org/browse.php

the code looks like an error, not a design.

Yea, the code looks terrible and wrong. I'd also say put some color in the menu frame to reduce the contrast, and is there supposed to be something in the top frame? I just see white there.

Also, lately frames are very out of style, everyone seems to prefer tables or divs, which is how I would (and did) do it.

    "Java

    MultiMailer

This is an exteremly simple and watered down mail sending client. It even lacks checking email addresses to verify wether or not they are valid. I wrote this program to help me understand how the JavaMail API worked. I added a neat little feature that allows you to select the number of email you can send. I did this to prove a friend wrong. He was convinced that all SMTP servers now have protection against this, and wouldn't take no for an answer. The 120 emails waiting in his inbox the next morning proved him wrong...right steve?

Please note: The table of contents on the left side is actually meant to look like that and is not code gone bad...everyone who has seen my page has told me that my 'code' is not working, and its showing...

Thanks a bunch for the comments guy, I will change the 'code' when I have some time, I just though it was unique, maybe I can fool around with making it look really fake or something...heh

I gotta find another style to use now... :rant2: :rant2:

    hehe
    thanks!

I agree. If it's intended that way it doesn't look that nice.

The font on the right hand side is too big, and I don't like the color scheme.
