I went into Wal-mart the other day and they actually had 9mm, .40, and .45...It was beautiful. I relieved them of 4 WWB in 9mm and 2 more 50rd boxes of Remington. It marked the first time I've seen 9mm since March.

I am starting to see more at my local walmart, which is nice, since its literally a mile from the house. I just stop in a couple times a week.

This week I went into three different walmarts and they all had ammo on the shelves. All of them have had Federal bulk packs of .22 for a few weeks now ( and yes, they've gone up to $15.47). They all had 9mm and .45 WWB in decent quantities as well. In the last couple days I've picked up 200rds of .45, 2200rds of Federal .22, and 900rds of 9mm and there was still some left.

Looks like the ammo shortage may be coming to an end :bigthumb:

if they have 90 cases what's an extra 6 boxes? i'd have bought as many as they were willing to sell.

I'm convinced its one guy that keeps buying out 9mm at our local wal-mart. For a while, they had it in stock, now they have a 6 item max per customer per day. I went in there one time and the lady said she had to hide 6 boxes because some guy tried to buy them out of everything they had in stock.

Probably the same assholes trying to resell them to other parts of the country or at gun shows.

They have a 6 box limit per person per day, so my wife had to get 6 too. I got 6 more on the way to work this morning.

Is there something special about these or is it just the best deal around like WWB? They have some at my wally world, but no 9mm, .40 or .45.

Just a good deal, and they work quite well. Also, they are a LOT cleaner than the Remington Golden Bullets at about the same price.

My AR with CMMG conversion and my 10/22 eat them all day long with no problems. My Kimber 1911 .22 needs something a little heavier (CCI Mini-mag 40gr).

Oh OK. I've been using Dynapoint GT's from Dicks for a while now. I haven't bothered trying anything else since they run so well in my 10/22.
