My Walmart does'nt sell ammo anymore ugh2

While I was there, I went to the sporting goods section and all I saw were hundreds of rounds of shotgun shells. Not even .22 ammo. Is that fucked up or what? :ugh:

No. I dont think its because of laws and shit. The walmart in my area just sucks. I used to put together those Testors model cars. The big ones. And they just one day didnt sell them anymore. I think they just randomly decide what they want to stop selling

Yes...One of the largest retail corporations in the world randomly decides what they will & won't sell. :cjerk:

They went through their systems, saw that the space it takes up isn't necessarily bringing in the money that other things could.

So, in some areas they've removed guns / ammo / accessories, so that they can make more money (and try for a more upscale / target-esque image) with other products.

edit: image was supposed to be inside the parenthesis

    Thats fucking gay.
Now the place that used to have ammo has $30 soft cases for rifles. I can go to the local hardware store and pay $10 for a plano made hard case

I scavenged through a bunch of Wal-Marts today looking for cheap 9mm. The ones in my area have CCI Blazer Brass for $5 a box. I didn't really score at any of them (I think the best I did was 300 rounds at one of them) but I did see the $30 rifle cases that fucking SUCK. Every Wal-Mart in my area still sells ammo but only half of them sell guns.

All the walmarts around me stopped selling every ammo but shotgun shells. And they used to have 4 rotating cases of guns in each of them. Now they have only 2 cases. And the other is being remodeled for some reason and doesnt have any guns or ammo or knives or even a sporting goods checkout counter.

I need to find a good source of .22 ammo soon. I bought a couple thousand rounds of Remington once llast year when they were on sale for about $.01 each. And now I only have 400+ rounds left

Are the bullets cheap at Wal-Mart? I've never seen one that sells them? Unless you buy the casing, powder and primer along with them that is....

They're usually not very cheap, but since metal prices have skyrocketed most online stores have raised their prices, but so far Walmart hasn't. So, if you factor in shipping costs Walmart is on par with pretty much any online store, maybe a few dollars cheaper.

I bought a pound of Reloder 22 there the other day, it was $3 more than what I usually pay but the convenience is worth it since I'd normally have to drive 15 miles each way to buy out of an old mans basement which is only open 3 days a week :hsugh: He does have an excellent selection and great prices though :o

Also the only bullets wal mart carries are nosler BTs, some speers, and I think a few sierras. They pretty much sell just RCBS equipment (though I did get a lyman tumbler for a good price there once) and only stock Winchester cases and RCBS dies in the most common calibers like 30-06, 45ACP, etc. Oh and the only primers they carry are CCIs. :hs:

I live in Orange County California, quite possibly the most anti-gun area in the country after SF/DC/Chicago and both the walmarts I went to were stocked up. Honestly it didnt make sense to me, but I dont care.

I don't go to walmart, regardless of what is/isn't in stock. It's the worst store in the world.

I've got to go to my ffl, send off some money. Then tonight, hit up wal-mart, and see if they still sell any. If they do, I'm cleaning them out of 9mm, since I only have 15 rounds of it right now.

Walmart is right next to the gun range I go to.. I cant really find a deal online that really beats walmarts prices/convenience of not having to shell out 200 bucks for a case at a time..
