Just started doing this, when I play any other game it doesn't but while in COD world at war the fan spins little faster which is fine I know its supposed to spin fans to compensate for heat. Problem is when I am done with the game... fan stays that way until I shut the system off and turn it back on or use some software like RivaTuner that I can turn it down. I left it on last night to see if it would spin back down but apparently it stuck that way until I shut down. What causes it to stay stuck? My card is a geforce 9800 gtx. says gpu 50c right now, core is 36c after running the game those temps might go up a few degrees and comes back down like normal after idling.

Maybe a BIOS update for the card?
