i bought the car in september or october of last year, i needed a daily driver quick after wrecking my mirage. when i got to the dealership ( nissan btw lol ) i said i wanted something 5 speed, with leather and a sun roof, other than that i didn't care. i test drove a couple of cars but wasn't really comfortable in any, when the saleswhore tried to get me to drive a hyundai i almost laughed in her face, but i gave in and really liked it. i bought the car on the spot and purchased an alarm and GPS on my way home. it took me a little while to get over the fact that it was a hyundai but once i put that behind me the modding began.

    Current mods ( short version );

    Kartboy evo shifter bushings
    TMW STS

    Halo 8k HID's
    Seibon VSII CF hood
    RRM CF spoiler
    LED tail conversion
    Enkei bronze EVO5's

    Injen SRI
    Injen SES catback
    Raizen voltage stabilizer
    Shark racing grounding kit
    SSA headers
    SSA test pipe
    NGM Sniper IM
    Eaton 4th gen MP-62 blower

    Zeitronix wideband & boost sensor

pics ( from purchase date to current cannot find any of it stock because i started modding it the day after i bought it )

and that's that for now, tomorow i'm going to do a LOT of re-wireing to tuck some of the wires that are scattered around. i'm also going to redo my ground wires since after the supercharger install a couple were moved and now have extra lenght to them. i'm getting ready to replace the clutch with a stage 3 CM sprung disc and fidanza wheel, i'm also trying to figure out what piggyback/tuner i want to go with for the tim being. before next winter i'm hoping to pick up a second engine to build up before intercooling, adding some larger injecters, and greatly increasing the boost.

    I like tiburons...

You've destroyed yours, but most people don't know who builds them, so i could possibly live with one (except their not designed for people over 190cm), if you dericed yours it might be ok i guess, it looked pritty quick in the video.

    thanks i guess?

they vinyls i had are gone with the exception of the bandaid ( that was actually a joke from a friend, i side swiped an ambulance at work backing into the bay to change my oil and it's covering a dent ) the hood was free and considering the weight difference i figured why not, it's seibon and had a silver mesh that i absolutly hated so i rattlecan it black. i thought it looked a little out of place so i took off my factory spoiler and replaced it with an OEM style/size CF one :]

    well thanks

I like the wheels, but... you need to.

    - Lose the different coloured stuff, its not nice.
    - Lose the stickers, there not cool
    - Lose the new front lights they dont suit it
    - Lose the ugly wing
    - Get rid of the rice from the interior.

In the end, i would be trying to get it looking like this one:

    Its nicely done.

One sec, this thing's boosted? No wonder it looked so quick, i didnt even notice the engine mods...

Definetly convert it to stock looking, it would be one of the best sleepers.

Nice intake though. I think we installed the step above that one on my friend's tibby along witha few other goodies. He keeps threatening to boost and cam it but it hasnt happened yet.

i can't see the image, is it an NGM stage 4 manifold? it isn't really a "step above" because my manifold is basically the same one with shorter runners to allow the blower to be mounted behind it. it also has the aqua cooler inside of it but i have been working on our 07 gti more than the tiburon so i havn't gotten around to grabbing a resivoir and pump for the cooling media

yes i'm a member of NT but don't post much. i know bms the site runner, he has a meet around christmas every year out here in SE pa.

my dads car? you've got to be kidding me, what economicly deprived area do you live in that a grown man would be driving a $20,000 car? i'm 22 years old and a full time student, you can say what you want about my cars but i've built them both from the ground up and put my own blood and sweat into them. i love when i run into arogant jackasses like half of the people in this thread when i'm at the track. nothing like walking a 4.6l v8 mustang with my pos korean v6

It looks alright. I am not a fan of teh CF hood and for sure not the Spoiler.

Those cars arent so bad. I work at a Hyundai Dealer in the parts department, and the Tiburon is not a common car i get parts call's for.

Keep it clean, and back to 'stock body'

Keep us updated on anymore progress

really bad call with gold wheels on a red car, and even worse call with CF hood/wing. It would be okay for a tiburon if you just left everything stock.

Looks nice under the hood man....can't agree too much with the exterior though.

    no antenna?

i think your tails would look nicer with just red-outs

and no offence but that sticker kind of pisses me off, i couldn't belive how much support their was for him when he died; the fucking idiot constantly posted street racing storys it was just a mater of time :[

what exhaust you runing? going for headers next? they're such a PITA :p

I took that damn flagpole off a long time ago. I listen to CD's. I did just get a stubby antenna the other day. It's on now, but haven't got any pics yet.

I LOVE my tails. The redouts UNDER the Niteshade would have been cool.....too late now.

I never saw all the racing posts he made. That is understandable. It's not completely meant to honor his memory, but also an effort to send a message to others about the dangers of street racing. At least that's how I look at it. Hey....it was your boy Brian's idea lol...

Injen SES exhaust. Headers in the near future. Might get a couple smaller things beforehand......like those APE tractions bars before they are gone forever. But yeah....can't wait for the header install. Eight hours and a case of beer later..........:(
