    :mamoru:

Finally found some time to work on my friend's USPC 40. Took it all the way down, did some minor trigger work, lightened the double-action pull a bit.

I love this gun. I may consider selling one of my USP .45 pistols to pick up a .45C, I really dig it.

This is about halfway back together.

    :naughty:

I really do like my USPc .40 but the double action does suck balls. Care to expand on what is involved in improving the DA pull?

Basically, you need to disassemble and clean / polish all the surfaces that meet during the DA pull. The important ones are the trigger bearing surface where it meets the trigger bar, the trigger bar & detent and the hammer strut. Once those are polished and cleaned up, the gun functions MUCH smoother on the DA pull, with a much-improved feel.

There are a few other tweaks for improved control-lever action that involve the sear, disconnect and detent slide as well.
