So my upper has a little play when its attached to the lower. I'm pretty sure most of them are like this, but is there anything I can get to minimize or eliminate the wobble?

accuwedges will fix the wobble...but there's no point. The wobble won't effect accuracy and you won't notice it when you're actually using the gun.

I know it doesn't and I honestly can't tell when I'm shooting it, just wondering.

Tear a paper match down it's center the long way and put one half each on the rails.

    Works good.

Any of the fixes you could cook up to soothe your aesthetic desires would be more detrimental to the function of your gun.

Superficial perhaps would have been more accurate. If it really bugs you, you could swap some lowers around and see if you can find one that fits tight, but it too will loosen up over time.

It's normal and as long as it's not so loose that it interfers with the feeding and firing of the gun, why worry about it?

I used some electrical tape, made a little ring with it, put it on, and trimmed with a razor.

Works fine. Thanks for the idea.

accuwedges allegedly break down under high temps and will interfere with the inner workings, and if those fail I'm guessing electrical tape isn't the best idea, but I'm no engineer
