the black trim around the door windows + rear window is starting to fade, some parts its been 'scraped' off or something, i can see silver underneath. Can i paint on this? are there any good products for trim?

If the paint is coming off, your best bet is to remove the trim and have a shop powder coat it.

SEM makes an aerosol spray called "trim black." You can get it at NAPA auto parts. Be sure to mask off the car completely and precisely, and pre-clean with SEM's SEM-Solve.
