My talon fell of the dyno

    My GST did the exact same fucking thing. I've never come closer to shitting my pants in my entire life. Mine burned through one of the cross straps and the car went sideways and dropped a tire off the side. I was looking out the window to the computer when I heard the snap and looked out the windshield to see the whole shop move to the left. With the exception of one fubar'd tire all was good.

    It's really easy to overlook when you're strapping a car down. That is until it happens to you and you remove/turn every dump tube upside down after.

    *note to self* make sure straps are not near the exhaust at the dyno this Saturday.

    glad your car wasn't messed up from that.

    :| glad to see no real damage. quite dangerous when that happens.

    ive seen a bagged 300c jump off a dyno ... pretty scary seeing 2 tonnes coming loose

    Not impossible, but it would be very hard to do. There are still two more 3,000lb. + straps on the back, plus the first inch that car budges your foot finds that brake pedal faster than you would think:eek3:
