Bad it had some rust under the bluing when I first got it but after using a new cleaner on it it now needs to be refinished.

Avoid that stuff at all costs.

    Now the question is...

Cerakote or reblue. Gun will be going to a local smith it is 150 to do the slide the frame is anodized but I may have it re-done.

2 Tone? I'm open to your ideas.

I'm strongly considering sending my 228 off to CCR for a reverse two tone and throwing some Nills on it.

I'd save on the hassle and cost of shipping. It's 50 to ship a handgun I just did it.

But if you're just having the slide redone it's only like $8 for shipping to CCR. Cerahide on the slide is only $50 right now, but I guess with their holiday prices they may get a little backed up.

I'm sending my slide and barrel from my P6 to get redone in House Black

The other thing is I bought the gun used and I carry it. As old as it is I'd like to have my smith who's done alot of work go through it just to make sure everything is good to go.
