My shoulders really slouch when I do deadlifts.

I've always had shoulders that slouch forward. I've been working on my posture with a lot of upper back exercises and it is coming along nicely.

When I deadlift, my shoulders completely move forward and I slouch horribly (just my shoulders, not the rest of my back). Is this bad? Should I decrease the weight and increase as my shoulders allow or is it ok to slouch during deadlifts?

    IBslouching is normal.

it's ok to round the shoulders, so long as you're keeping an arch in the rest of your back. is that what you're doing? or are you leaning forward too much, almost unbalanced?

I'm balanced when I do it, but my back isn't arched. I try to keep my back as flat as possible.

When you deadlift you are (or should be) holding the bar in your hands thus the weight is going to pull your shoulders down unless you have traps which are huge (bigger then Wendlers) that can support the weight without moving. You are fine, just down round your lower back.

I had deja vu the entire time I read that . I assume that last sentence is supposed to read "just don't round your lower back."
