My shitty legs

    Here's a shot... my calves suck as well, I am in the midst of my first week of training them everyday, as nothing else has seemed to work for them.

    calves are always hard to get "really" big, just keep at it and search some of Timbers post about this

    I don't even need them that big. I'm 5'6" so it's all relative, naw mean? I just don't want it to look like I have chicken legs :(

    Your legs make mine look small :dunno:

    I don't train my calves so people are always facinated how my upper body is carried around by them

    Knucks, instead of doing them everyday...have you considered giving them their own workout once or twice per week?

    they aren't even that small, the hell you talking about nigga...they should grow if you're doing everything right (which it looks like you're doing since there's obvious definition and muscle) , how long have you been using your routine? maybe it's time to switch it up

    :rofl: they were mad small, he looked 100% chicken leg, cause he was wearing giant baggy mesh shorts so only his little calves were sticking out.

    try the bill star squat 3 times a week deal....everyday might be to much work...

    incline walking on a steeeeeeep incline will hit them well

    Some more ideas....

    - Don't do them on leg day. Give them their own day.
    - If you're doing slow reps, go with fast reps. Or vice versa.
    - Really slow reps, hold at top. I've read a couple cases of people doing this to get their traps to grow. Maybe it works for calves :dunno:

    Well the only thing I know that will get calves big is mountain biking. Every serious mountain biker I have seen had some mighty calves. For your quads you could try front squats or other squat variations.

    Look a lot better than my upper legs, I can't work them out b/c of injury. My calves are decent though. Try using the stair climber or treadmill on a high incline to build your calves up.

    When you're doing standing calf raises, try bending your knees just the slightest bit (instead of keeping your knees locked). When I started doing this I felt my calves work like 11ty times harder, better pumps, etc.
