I have a 97 Honda Prelude in red, and the roof is noticeably lighter in color compared to the rest of the car. I know Honda's red is notorious for turning pink when left in the sun, so I try to keep it under shade as much as possible but the top is still turning lighter in color.

Is there anything I can do to get the color back, other than respraying?

If not, what can I do to protect the paint to make it last as long as possible? Just constant wash and wax?

Scott, in this situation is the paint still fine and only the clear is the culprit?
