I guess. What do you think will happen if I contact them and ask them to send me the correct ones?

If they want me to return the flats, I am not paying shipping for their mistake

Fuck that man. Keep them and buy some standard Romy flats. They're only $15 each and you only need 1 for right now.

:werd: It was their mistake, their loss.

You can order more then work on other stuff like refinishing while you wait for the new flat.

unscrew it from the rear trunion? If all the screws are out, just yank it.

I got my polish underfolder kit of AIM surplus for $220 shipped. Finish is a bit worn but the wood and bore is in great condition. I'm going to refinish the metal anyway so it's not a big deal.

work it back and forth.. what I did was smack it against a carpet on one side, flip it over, do it on the other side, give it some range of motion :kdubb:

Put a big screwdriver or something like that in and hammer it out.

    .
sometimes you'll need leverage to get it apart the first time you take it off. Some stocks aren't cut quite to spec for the reciever I had to use a mallot to put my bulgie stock on my SAR2. I look forward to the day I remove it :hs:

Which did you order? Both that I ordered from DPH came with almost new looking furniture. Your stock looks pretty beat and worn

I even put the receiver in my vise and tried yanking and wiggling on the stock but it didnt come out until I removed the rear trunion. That bitch was stuck on there tight!

I had already tried that. I gave up after the stock didnt move even a 16th of an ainch and the screwdriver had went a half inch into the stock :o

I ordered the Romy kit with a G2 group. Cost me $125. Must be getting to the bottom of the pile :noes:

DPH. If you want to see how you use it, they have a link in the description of it that is a pdf file of the owners manual. Gives you an idea of how to use it before buying ;)

God damnit. My barrel pin is stuck in there tight. I also am having trouble getting the last rivit out of the rear trunnion. I'm fucking broke after buying a bunch of tools and shit and I can't afford a vice. I'll have to take a trip to my parent's house or find somebody here with one :wtc:

Started on refinishing my stock set today. Got all the way up to staining, but decided to give the stain a day to soak in.
Im somehwat happy with the results.
not* there is alot better grain and color in the wood than in the pics. I resized with :mspaint:

I want to redo that black line of paint that was around the stock. I measured and its about 1'' wide at the center of the stock and looks like they just dipped it in paint. I hopw it turns out alright :x:
