My right shoulder is crunchy

    Im pretty sure its from doing over head pressing. I started doing them again the last few weeks and progressivly my shoulder started to hurt more and more while doing those and benching. Today while benching I could hear my shoulder make happy noises over the sound of my mp3 player.

    my shoulders always pop for behind the neck lat pull downs and behind the neck military press.

    no pain though :dunno:

    I get painful pops in my right shoulder allodetime.

    You shouldn't be doing those movements anyway puts too much strain on the rotator cuff. Have fun with surgery.

    on all pressing movements. I the difference between pops and crunches though :( my elbow popS my shoulder chunches.

    well I think the behind the neck versions of those movements add extra stress to the shoulder....:ugh:

    every lat pulldown machine at my gym has a warning sticker about doing the behind the neck version of a pulldown...it warns of shoulder injuries

    Same here. But I've learned that if I warm up with 2-3 light sets before, it goes away. Also, lots of stretching too.

    my shoulders crunch a lot also, all my joints do though really, doctor said it was normal heh, i don't believe him,


    its the sort of feeling/noise when you crunch marbles together

    actually you are wrong. I've already been there and had surgery. Known many people that have had surgery and have talked to tons of people that have tears(slap lesions and rotator tears). Its not a fallacy bro, keep thinking that, then when you get injured I will be there to say I told you so.

    The problem with shoulder surgery is that they don't always get it right, its a difficult muscle group and joint to diagnose a problem in, , if you have shoulder problems see at least 2 drs 3 if you can.

    I would get that in my shoulders whenever I used to do upright rows.
